A week of “leaving no GOOD left undone” in our local community.

In a world where we all-too-often hear devastating stories of terrorism, we choose to respond by planning acts of favorism. So, we are asking students and families to take to the streets, schools and public places as “favorists” from Sunday, April 23rd to Saturday, May 1st to infect others with GOODness!

The vision behind the GOODness Epidemic is to encourage students to take action and become architects of GOODness wherever possible. During this week many local businesses and families Sponsor the GOODness Epidemic as our main annual fundraiser, creating public GOODwill and strengthening our community. Such community-mindedness and generosity are the building blocks of SCY.
  • Random acts of kindness…
  • We will invade our community to spread joy, gratitude, love, peace, respect and fun, and we’ll provide all sorts of ideas of practical ways that you and your families can join in! It is our hope that these simple acts of kindnesswill spark a ripple effect — an Epidemic, if you will — creating a better story for us all.

  • Donate by becoming a Sponsor…
  • Although the cost to operate our programs each year is about $600 per student, SCY doesn’t charge any membership fees to participate in our weekly programs and activities. Instead, the SCY team works hard every year to meet our annual budget through grants, private donations, an annual wreath sale, and our main event – the GOODness Epidemic! We could greatly use your financial support to fund our continually growing programs and this is your opportunity!

Donate to the GOODness Epidemic or become a Sponsor so that Summit County Youth can continue to be a contagion for GOOD!
